Just as the OCPCA takes care of our human officers we work hard to take care of our canine partners as well; even in retirement. Once a police canine retires from active service we ensure they are taken care of. To make sure that all of our retired canine officers receive the best care possible, the OCPCA supplements some of the veterinary expenses for all of our retired canine officers for the rest of their life.
